It's a shame a small minority has ruined it for others and no one is able to do anything about it. You can't even enforce your own rules.

@bbc5live I also love a walk along my local canal towpath. However, I am unable to enjoy this currently as @CanalRiverTrust are refusing to deal with a bad moorer who has vicious dogs, is using the woods next door as their bathroom and leaving rubbish all over the towpath. Shame

@CanalRiverTrust @bbc5live I have reported it and after a week of hearing nothing I chased it up to be informed the individuals concerned had got special dispensation to moor for longer than 2 weeks (they have been there at least 5) and to report anything further. Jubilant.bead.charted
