What’s like working with Timothée Chalamet?
“It’s just true — he’s such a bro’s bro”
@FatrickEwing dishes on his experience as a first time actor working with one of Hollywood’s hottest names in ‘MARTY SUPREME’
@aherman2006 The ending has nothing to do with whether or not he changes. His dream is over. He hit that proverbial brick wall called reality. His tears are a farewell, and the song tells us, "This is your life. There's no turning back." He's heartbroken.
@ekemxsam@DarkOfTheMovie More like a tournament. Each character is a new player and new game. Serve. Volley. Win. Advance. Serve. Volley. Lose. Next tournament. All the while trying to get the funds to try again. Try, try, again. Reality. Farewell tears. New dream...
@ekemxsam@DarkOfTheMovie This film is a ping pong game. Serve: Marty booking trip to Tokyo. Volley: Unc won't pay til end of day. "I love you." (ball hits the net) End of day, uncle gone. (missed return) Robs the vault. (Game over) New game: Gets to Tokyo. Loses. New game: necklace. loses out on necklace
@NirvanaClay@J0hnADouglas I do it all the time. Don't want that stuff in my teeth. Don't drink soda, either. I'm one of those rare humans who can go 2 1/2 - 3 hours without food.
@tyrionthropp@JimJarmuschHair Not at all. Marty is getting hit over the head with reality. Not going to be a champion. Responsibility for his mother, Rachel, and a baby. The ending song, "Welcome to your life. There's no turning back."
@speakfilms Maybe The Aviator shouldn't be there. It made $858K opening day, 40 theaters. Christmas week it opened in 1700+ theaters. Total gross was $10M by Christmas Day. The budget was $110M.
@ghostofkurta What does that even mean? I'm from the 50s and other than the latest slang we talk the same. Oh sure, Sarah Palin invented a new word, and some words don't mean what they used to, but the general sentence structure has remained the same.
@TheAlexSylvian If there is any similarity between Dylan's narcissism and Marty's it is that it takes a certain level of narcissism to think you have what it takes to be on top one day. But Marty was impatient and mentored by scammers where Dylan was methodical and surrounded by artists.
