@queerdomrv I agree and I haven't watched the full vid either. I obv don't know for sure which way he meant it, but the way he phrased it is suspicious, and now because of what happened, people are seeing this clip in a new light
I wish people would think with more nuance like this bc it seems very likely that mk's naivety has created a space for his circle to take advantage of his delusions, and it's not an excuse to defend his actions but rather a potential explanation +
@FlGUREI8HT true, but it's also strange to say that none of the members are woke because one of them isn't... to me that's just the same as saying they're all woke. we don't know them personally, and idols tend to not talk about politics, so how would you know that
@tenbitrades@Iovesicckgirls shaming women for dating is bad. also, calling women whores for dating a lot is also bad. this is known as misogyny. hope this helps.
@markleevida I just expect more from someone making such an extreme, severe mistake. Simply smiling to fans would be one thing, but doing aegyo and that caption with that emoji was just weird and shady. And that apology was gone in 24h, not posted on his own account or mentioning his name :/
"even if he had said something nothing would change" this argument SUCKS. people were BEGGING him to give a proper apology because they've been fans forever and believed he was a good guy. all these people who loved him wouldn't just leave if he took accountability
you know what? I saw this post and I got a certain anger because yall were creating narratives in the underlines of his words and putting contexts and bad intentions that don’t exist but then I thought: even if he had said something about what happened nothing would change+
@markleevida I mean, who sees thousands of their fans upset that he used a racist hate symbol pretty much equivalent to a n*zi symbol, and then shows up right after smiling and making hearts at the camera and puts *that* caption on his IG story? He KNEW the situation he stood in.
@markleevida I'm not talking about him making a dumb mistake with the flag, I also assume he didn't know. But if you don't see how arrogant and flippant his response to this whole thing is, I don't know what to tell you. I WANT to trust him, but I can't.
