when asked about how he’s feeling about their upcoming world tour, taesan talked about concert preparations and playing the bass… 🎸🖤
🐈⬛ on a personal note, i’ll be showing myself performing bass on stage for the first time, so i hope onedoor likes it. thanks to having learned a bit of guitar beforehand, i was able to prepare quickly
bonedo were able to pull this crowd cause they built their fandom little by little in a stable way, always going for something genuine rather than chasing trends
that make the fandom stronger, cause it’s made with people who actually enjoy their music 🩵🏠
🦦: i did this in just 1 hour 😓 next time i’ll upload a better one for you guys
mind you this is riwoo's "not good enough" 😭 he can still eat up half the kpop industry without even trying. so underrated
the song was already perfect but riwoo throwing in that one gorgeous adlib just made everything feel so much fuller.. if ever they will release a live album again can they pls include this 🛐🛐🛐
🔖 Singles Korea magazine, August 2026 issue - Jaehyun’s interview (part 1)
“for the first time, i have gained something i want to protect.” said boynextdoor’s leader, myung jaehyun, as he recalled the 5 members. a close-knite relationship that allows one to discover new sides of themselves that they didn't even know existed, this is the reason why we’re looking forward to see what is next for boynextdoor, even more.
Q you successfully wrapped up the promotions for your first full album, HOME.
🐶 we truly worked so hard for it and put our best efforts into every moment. tbh i was worried that once the promotions end, i’d feel it was such a pity, regardless of the outcome, but it wasn’t like that (laughs). even if i said i'd go back to the time i was preparing the album again, i don’t think i could’ve worked harder than this. above all, i’m glad i found a lead about the next album.
Q were there any memorable moments?
🐶 every moment was special. it was a precious and meaningful album to that extant. from the moment we started the preparation until we finished the promotions, memories pass by like a movie. the time we spent with the members talking about the album, the days we gathered to work in the studio until dawn, and until the music that we made with extreme concerns came out as an album, it’s unforgettable.
Q what was a changing point for you while making this album?
🐶 i guess the breadth of my thinking which was confined has broadened? as i pulled and gathered all the ideas and energy in my head to make it into something while working in the studio i was like “how should i make the next album?” or “what should i do if people don’t like this album even though i poured all i had in it?” i had these kind of thoughts. but while promoting HOME i think i rather faced the essence of why i started doing music once again. so i was able to picture what was next.
Q since you said you poured in all you had, i’m curious which song is the most like myung jaehyun?
🐶 it’s 06070. i really put in so much thought into every single line of the lyrics. since it contains an autobiographical story, i was so immersed into working on it that i revised it over twenty times. and among those, i fell like the line “it’s ok even if i’m left alone and have to brace myself. we became 6 because i stood alone and endured” is the most like me. bc i’m someone who’s good at enduring things alone. bc i endured it by myself like that, i came to meet the most lovable members in the world.
Q what makes you so grateful to them?
🐶 while doing the promotions, sometimes i felt small, and there were situations where i could feel the burden of people’s gaze on me. but whenever that happened the first people who came to my mind were the members. with the six of us together, i had nothing to be afraid of. and i thought that i should try harder for us.
Q the documentary “HOME VIDEO” which contains the making of the album was impressive too.
🐶 during the process of making the album there were a lot of hesitation too. “is it right to show myself exactly as i am?” or “can i really show who i truly am?” i had worries like those. but i trusted the bond i have built with onedoor and i believed that telling our story without addition or subtraction, will add to the authenticity of our music. thanks to that process, i was able to properly look back on the emotions that even i myself couldn’t fully face before, and it was such a meaningful time.
one of the things that makes boynextdor’s concert exciting and different is the transition between the songs, and today i just found it that MYUNG JAEHYUN IS THE ONE WHO PRODUCED IT???? just how talented this man is. calling him ace isn’t enough 👏
apparently jaehyun was involved in producing the transition music that connected each performance and song to the next during the concert!!
“above all, what drew attention was the transition music that filled the gap between the songs. this sound that leader myung jaehyun revealed he personally poured his heart and soul into its production, tied up the entire performance so that the flow wouldn't break even for a moment.
thanks to the meticulous performance direction, and the constant sound, the concert went by cohesively like watching a well made show.”
