adding to this, i know its more common for women to be assaulted, but still it can happen to ANYONE!!!

in my self defense class the teacher kept referring to the girls as females and saying that they would get assaulted but never said boys could be assaulted too.

i got a leaflet about sexual assault with like crisis lines n stuff local to me and all throughout it they kept referring to victims with "she/her." it made me upset and feel less valid.

anyone can get assaulted and people NEED to be normalizing that.
