I’m a Democrat. Anything pro-Democrat is fine with me.

I saw someone say this word for word and it stuck with me, not because it was shocking, but because it wasn’t.

This isn’t about being a Democrat or a Republican. This is what happens when loyalty replaces judgment.

When the team comes first, you stop asking if something is true, or right, or good for the country. You only ask, “does this help my side?”

And once you think like that, the actual content of the sentence doesn’t matter anymore.

A principle that only applies to the other side is not a principle. It’s a jersey. It’s just sports.

This is exactly why we are so divided. We’ve trained people to defend everything their side does and attack everything the other side does, even if it’s the exact same thing.

If you wouldn’t accept it from them, you shouldn’t accept it from your own.

So here’s a test I try to give myself: Take any issue, flip the parties, and ask the question again. If your answer changes, you don’t have values. You have a tribe.

And a tribe will never save this country. Values might.

Endless wars against the enemies they fund, to keep the racket going which is what President Trump is working overtime to stop.

If the President has to be born here, why do we let people born somewhere else write our laws, sit on our courts, and lecture us about “our democracy”?

The Constitution already says the Commander in Chief has to be a natural-born citizen. Makes sense. The person with the nuclear codes should not have a backup passport and a second allegiance.
Mace wants that same standard for Congress, federal judges, and Senate-confirmed officers. She named names: Ilhan Omar. Shri Thanedar. Pramila Jayapal. All born overseas. All sitting in the House. All acting like America is the problem.
Omar’s response was, “Good luck to her.”

I agree with Rep Mace. Foreign born should never be able to hold any type of local or federal office.
