@leafguy403 Kurtis this is actually a testament to how popular and effective your social media efforts are. Imagine, a major international brewery is concerned that your popularity and choice to display a different product is eroding their expected return on their Leafs investment.
@songsofyoni@JohnDun75501008 Our government is a disgrace…but Canadians should not be conflated with the children in Ottawa who have reduced Canada’s international stature, whatever it might have been, to insignificance.
@sylviewatikum@BillAckman you may be unhappy with this result, for whatever reason, but you may want to consider some self reflection, because castigating an entire race for this is.....what's that word again? oh right, racist.
@itsmitchmarney What would Shanny do if the “family” says no? I have seen absent third parties used in negotiations all the time. Its either real or a tactic, but either way Shanny needed to regain control and that is what he did. I like Dubas, but he learned something today
@itsmitchmarney Its the last straw, new financial demands after deal parameters are settled, a guy who was clearly waffling about doing the job…family or not, its Dubas obligation to sort that out before the deadline, not later…what if his family said no thanks to the Leafs job?
@itsmitchmarney In my estimation, poor execution by Dubas or his agent who misread the situation, particularly after the Monday Dubas presser which left Shanny wondering if the guy was burnt out-which he appeared to be.
@itsmitchmarney Parsing the Shanny presser, he thought they had a deal, Dubas’s agent presented a “new financial package” which created a “gap”. Then Dubas sent what i can only imagine is a presumptive email to Shanahan. I think Shanahan had enough by that point
