@Ruesavatar@valleyofthena@Nyct0phil3_x I also think it’s fine to get emotional in debates and trigger emotion. That’s a part of the learning experience. Why did this thing get to me? Anytime I take something too personally and get pissed in a debate, I feel like I gain a better understanding of the subject and myself
@minordissent Weirdly too, I’ve noticed resistance of the ‘thing’ has the odd effect of creating a life where the ‘thing’ happens. It’s almost like we’re being taught that surrender to the fear is a requirement of living a good and free life
@Aella_Girl It’s amazing how explicit realizations like these are becoming. And how moving up the ranks of power seem to involve a slow transition of operating this way more and more, moving away from authenticity in the process
@chalimoe_xo@Aella_Girl Similar. I’d talk to them at 11. Then depending on what they said and if it’s isolated and I can sleep, maybe call police. Friday / Saturday totally different story. Probably wouldn’t talk to them or call the police at all if it’s isolated
@SwingAssassin I think there can be many pluses to it used in moderation. Silly example, having digital ‘home’ art galleries, licensing NFTs and putting on exhibitions/events with friends from around the world present. The problem could (will) be if it supersedes existence in the real world
