It’s so interesting to me to see Kat Rosenfield on Twitter, having fun and making takes, and seeing different sides to her, bc for years as a middle and high schooler I read her advice column for teenagers. Her stuff then had similar flavor to how she is now, she’s very consistent. Altho of course writing to different audience

Yes. I agree. Every dynamic is co-created. Every victim has power that they can’t/wont use. I wouldn’t say that in top line tweet bc it’s provoking and confrontational and perhaps only makes problem worse when not carefully meted out and the pain is real and the bad behavior is real. But I agree everyone creates their own reality

I have a desire to defend women against the claim that they are hostile to other women or play vicious social games bc I’ve never experienced those things, but it’s very possible that I’ve obliviously sailed through life simply not noticing those undercurrents
