Craig Ferguson from Scotland has just completed a walk from LA to Boston, over 3200 miles, raising over £1 million for Mental Health🚶🏴
He aimed to make it in time for Scotland’s opener vs Haiti and he’s done just that🎉🏴🇭🇹
An incredible achievement👏👏👏
@benswfc15@Owlsonline Didn’t Bellingham do something similar when leaving Birmingham to go to Dortmund? He signed a new deal to ensure the club got value for him. Here’s hoping Charles does the same.
Another Premier League Club all installed and Lauren’s plaques attached now the dream is becoming reality thanks to all involved the battle continues please keep donating https://t.co/peE3dGcLML and share . Saving Lives Together 🩷🩷🩷
Former Bayern president Uli Hoeneß on ticket pricing:
“We could charge more than €120 per season ticket. If we charge €350 per season ticket we would get €2m extra, but what does that mean for us?
The difference for a fan between €120 and €350 is enormous and we do not believe that fans are like cows, which are milked.
Football has to be for everyone. That is the biggest difference between us and England.”
👏👏
Sheffield Wednesday deserves a fair deal, not another punishing blow. The EFL’s proposed 15-point deduction risks crushing a club already battered by years of mismanagement. punishing fans, dedicated staff, and a new ownership group willing to invest! #FairDealForWednesday
All we’re asking for is common sense @EFL.
Not loopholes. Not favours. Just fairness.
A guy destroyed our football club on your watch.
Thought the protest boots were hung up…
but don’t mistake silence for acceptance.

Sheffield Wednesday must be given a fair hearing.
We are calling for independent scrutiny before any 15-point deduction is imposed. The current process lacks transparency and a clear route to appeal.

The man who wants to rescue Sheffield Wednesday, American businessman David Storch, says he has been “informed that a 15-point penalty is set to be imposed at the start of next season” in League One. The outgoing owner Dejphon Chansiri should hang his head in shame at the damage he has inflicted on Sheffield Wednesday. He can’t have a conscience. Otherwise he’d accept a compromise on bid price.
The EFL should have been tougher with Chansiri quicker. The FA should remember it is supposed to be custodians of the game and protect clubs. The importance of an Independent Football Regulator, much delayed by vested interests, is highlighted again by events at Wednesday.
At the moment, the people being punished at Wednesday are fans, players, staff and the man who wants to save them. Shameful situation engulfing a historic club which could have been avoided with stronger leadership by the authorities. And Chansiri locating some principles. #SWFC
Definitely not a #swfc fan, But just so I'm clear, their former owner asset strips club, leaves Hillsborough in a state, doesn't pay staff/players. Leaves. Then EFL want new owners to pay over the odds to compensate Chansiri?! Then deduct SW another 15 points? That's insane #lufc
The name plates are finally being put up at the grounds the finishing touch in memory of Lauren means a lot seeing her name along side the defibs . The hard work continues thanks to all involved , please keep sharing and donating https://t.co/peE3dGcLML

Sheffield Wednesday’s players who’ve left in the last 6 months (including impending moves):
James Beadle, Josh Windass, Barry Bannan, Callum Paterson, Ben Hamer, Anthony Musaba, Djeidi Gassama, Shea Charles, Joey Phuthi, Pol Valentín, Marvin Johnson, Ibrahim Cissoko, Michael Ihiekwe, Akin Famewo, Michael Smith, Stuart Armstrong, Caelan Cadamarteri, Sam Reed, Ryo Hatsuse, Malik Wilks, Romario Collins, Ethan Horvath, Joe Lumley, Harry Amass, Sutura Kakay, Yisa Alao.
Players currently injured:
Pierce Charles, George Brown, Nathaniel Chalobah, Ernie Weaver, Max Lowe, Dominic Iorfa, Ike Ugbo, Sean Fusire, Dishon Bernard, Mackenzie Maltby, Guilherme Siqueira.
Players linked with moves away this month:
Yan Valery, Svante Ingelsson, Bailey Cadamarteri.
That’s up to 40 players who have either left, are about to leave, or are currently unavailable within a six-month period.
Take that many players out of any football club and don’t allow them to be replaced — the exact same thing happens.
Now add this:
• Danny Röhl and most of his backroom staff walked out in the summer
• The chairman left
• No CEO, no COO, no Director of Football
• Recruitment outsourced
But it’s fine apparently, because we’ve been “allowed” to bring in:
Liam Cooper
Nathan Redmond
Jaden Heskey
Murphy Cooper
