Using the slur back proves he didn't give a shit about the homophobia in the first place. He was offended and pissed off by a kid's attempt to emasculate his brother. It was toxic masculinity but y'all are pretending it's noble. He smashed the phone and used the slur because he thinks accusing another man of being gay is an insult that requires a violent response. I'm not disappointed in the kid getting his phone smashed, but it is disappointing to see a 37 year old with security fight a dipshit because hearing someone suggest his brother is gay makes him lose his shit and turn it into a homophobic moment of violence.
