Plato’s allegory of the cave should be required reading for all American high schoolers.
If you haven’t read it, it’s only 5 pages. Free PDF available on studio binder’s website. Quick Google search will bring you there 🩷
Plato famously tells us of prisoners chained in a cave, unable to move their bodies, looking at a blank wall. Behind them are puppeteers holding up puppets and a fire. The prisoners can’t see the puppeteers, or the puppets, or the fire. What the prisoners see are conjured shadows on the wall. And the prisoners mistake those shadows for life, for reality, for truth.
This old story speaks to us now.
It describes the way the media projects a distorted shadow of reality onto our televisions and computer screens. It describes the way politicians from the two parties distort fellow Americans into black-and-white abstractions and hate-objects.
America, we need to escape this captivity. We need to leave the cave. We can no longer mistake shadows for the truth.
Outside the cave there are sobering problems, yes, but there are also rivers and trees and sunlight. And fellow human beings. And a beautiful nation. #Kennedy24
To understand just how irredeemably messed up academia is, compare the differences in how Cambridge treated Jason Arday and how Harvard treated Roland Fryer.
One is a black sociologist; the other is a black economist.
At this point, we are all very well acquainted with Jason Arday’s insane fabrications, plagiarism, and less-than-stellar research record. Yet he became the youngest black professor in Cambridge’s history at 37.
Now look at the case of Roland Fryer.
He produced rigorous, data-driven research, published extensively, and ran a major institute (EdLabs) at Harvard.
He doggedly pursued the truth on one of the most charged questions in American public life. His landmark 2016 study titled “An Empirical Analysis of Racial Differences in Police Use of Force” examined millions of encounters and officer-involved shootings.
It found that there were no racial differences in the raw data or after controlling for circumstances. In some datasets (notably Houston), blacks were actually less likely to be shot once the encounter was underway.
As you know, this finding directly contradicted Black Lives Matter’s core orthodoxy that police systematically and disproportionately kill Black men out of racial animus. It was not only in vogue at the time; it was literally religion.
Roland Fryer and his data were guilty of blasphemy.
Harvard launched investigations into allegations of verbal sexual harassment and a hostile work environment in his lab. The process produced a two-year unpaid suspension, the permanent shutdown of EdLabs, and severe restrictions on his ability to advise or supervise.
All this was investigated by a kangaroo court under Title IX. The recommendation for his alleged failings was sensitivity training, yet a faculty panel escalated it into career-crippling punishment. Fryer has said he was unfairly targeted because of the political inconvenience of his results.
The contrast between how the academy treated these two men shows you how deep the moral rot is.
I visited Seattle’s $165 million dollar downtown library and it was OVERRUN with drug addicts.
Not only is this library filled with adults who are high on drugs, but they also offer FREE fentanyl test strips, syringes and injectable narcan that anyone, including children, can access.
Visitors have complained of “foul odors”, unusable restrooms and harassment by the homeless and I experienced all of this while at this location.
Seattle residents just passed a tax increase to raise $480 million dollars for libraries just like this one and this is unfortunately the state that they’re in:
1983 — Secret Service agents evacuate President Reagan at Augusta National Golf Club where Charles Harris took seven hostages and demanded to speak with the president.
OLD HASAN CLIP HAS RESURFACED:
“We want more immigrants to come into your countries and then they’re gonna fuck your sisters and then your daughters.”
“We’re here to Destroy the White Race, Bitch.”
So Twitch we just banned Asmongold but we’re not gonna ban the guy that wants illegals to rape our families???
Fact check: Another world is not, in fact, possible.
In reality, when these people get in power, they misuse and abuse it to try to engineer another world that can't exist, and it's close to the worst thing that happens or ever has happened.
Because the world they want to engineer cannot exist, and they cannot even countenance that it is their core belief in it and theory for producing it that are wrong, and because the whole thing is a giant conspiracy theory that the only reason we don't have a better world already is because class enemies won't let us...
Because of all of that, their conclusion is always that class enemies are somewhere, obviously at first and hidden later, who are preventing the new world from emerging from their crackpot engineering.
Those class enemies have to be destroyed so their precious theory can "work" and the impossible new world might then emerge, so it goes from being broken to wholesale destructive, and cruelly so.
People will be labeled class enemies who are not, or, as history records, will simply be punished or killed for being class enemies because quotas of alleged class enemies have to be filled even though not enough actual class enemies can be found.
Lives are destroyed. Property is stolen. Inalienable rights are violated. Crimes against humanity proceed.
It's all in pursuit of their literally, and I mean clinically literally, insane belief that "another world is possible" when, in fact, it is not.
Their theory is wrong but it is treated as sacred and perfect, or at least directionally perfect and perfectable.
Therefore its failures are not its failures but failures of implementation and sabotage. They are human failures, and the stakes are eschatological, so its failures become justifications for its abuses and its murders.
The unbelievably tragic part is that this Gospel of Paranoia, Resentment, Personality Disorder, Destruction, Power, and Death is "inspiring" to people once they've caught the bug, once they've fallen for the lie that "another world is possible" and the world we have is some kind of prison keeping us from it.
The Gnostic temptation stretches across the ages and all of human history, and it is a truly evil thing.
Aaron Rodgers RIPPED Anthony Fauci:
"I'm gonna plead the 5th. Like that absolute coward Tony Fauci. Absolute coward. Are you kidding me? What are you scared of Tony? I thought you were science?"
“I TOLD YOU I’ll be on the right side of history.”
Look, regardless of how you might feel about Chris Rufo, his reporting on the Skid Row Care Campus is accurate. In a nutshell? It is a Supervised drug consumption site that costs the city of LA $26 million per year to run. That's a fact.
I grew up in Seattle and went to school with kids who escaped the Khmer Rouge. My elementary school friend walked three days barefoot out of the jungle by himself after his entire family was killed. I heard the horrors of communism firsthand. I will do everything in my power to keep Marxist ideology from ever gaining a foothold in the United States. Vote them out.
Took me almost a full week, but I’ve finally finished the Fauci Diaries. It is a look inside the state/corporatist system possibly without precedent. It doesn’t provide the entire picture of events but it is remarkably candid.
The first spin on this book is partially correct: it’s an exercise in vanity. True. But there is much more here. It’s the story of the descent of a soul at every stage of decline: social climbing, egomania, megalomania, duplicity, self deception, intensifying levels of malice, exhaustion using courtiers as salve, and ending in total defeat realized only inchoately.
Reading it is a remarkable experience. It’s obviously not well written but that is a strength, a bit like how the “Blair Witch Project” is scarier due to its low budget. It’s raw and painful, alarming and shocking, and ultimately speaks to much more than the life of the author. It’s really a window into systemic corruption of nearly all the commanding heights of society itself, and offers a devastating indictment of the ruling class in government, media, science, and industry.
Does Fauci catch on that the media is using him as much as he is using them, that is, that he inhabited a world of fakery? Maybe but he decides early on that it is only choice. He has to keep it up else his whole world crumbles. This Icarus just kept flapping his wings without realizing that they were melting.
Another feature that stands out: It was always political theater and never about science. Multiple times, Fauci overrides evidence in favor of messaging toward his preferred political and industrial end.
Then you have this strange and persistent obsession of Fauci of maintaining social position with daily infusions of assurance that he is great, loved, admired, admitted to all the right parties, attended all the best events, with a contacts list that included the world’s rich, famous, and powerful. This is all he had to assure himself of his grand life. Even in the end, he does not seem to realize the role he played in upending the very system to which he so desperately wanted to belong.
Yes, nearly every page makes me angry but finishing it leaves me with something I had not expected; something like the sadness you feel in a Gothic novel when a promising life takes a terrible turn toward perdition and somehow cannot find the escape from that path.
The Picture of Dorian Grey also comes to mind. Fauci guarded his reputation as a scientist just as Dorian guarded his seeming youth. To do so required a costly exchange. In both stories, the status of the soul (represented by the painting for Dorian) belies appearances.
Nowhere could he have anticipated during the writing of the book that six years after his apotheosis that he would be trapped in a chair in a Senate chamber, ashen and defeated, surrounded by silent lawyers, his accusers on all sides, pleading the 5th amendment 111 times.
The wings completely melted. De profundis clamavi.
I invite you and everyone to spend time with this book for the ages.

CDC's Rochelle Walensky wanted to tell the truth on August 6, 2022, but the White House stopped it. For his part, Fauci just wanted to sell product, even if it was useless at best and probably dangerous.
Really unbelievable!
This is Nithya Raman's slum utopia. A crackhead gave birth on the street (while smoking crack). Nithya runs homelessness & housing for LA City, and she gave them their free crackpipes. The baby was found dead in a blanket. This is what LA voted for?
God help us.
God help us.
RFK Jr. reveals the single most disturbing thing he discovered in Anthony Fauci’s diaries.
This is peak hypocrisy. No other way to put it.
KENNEDY: “One of the things that was new to me in his diary was his admission that he got a pulmonary infarction in July of 2021 after receiving the vaccine.”
“So he took the Moderna vaccine on TV… to show people it was safe.”
“And then he got one of the primary most expected adverse events, which was potentially deadly blood clots in his lung, myocardial infarction.”
“He kept that secret from the American public, and we only learned about it because of the diary.”
“He was getting the best medical treatment that is available to anybody in the world at Walter Reed and all these other centers. There were doctors fawning over him.”
“Meanwhile, he was telling other people to take this product and concealing the fact that he himself, after announcing this press conference to show it was safe, had actually gotten very, very sick from an injury that was highly expected and highly likely to be caused by the vaccine.”
🚨 It appears that the @ZohranKMamdani “pied a terre” tax is broader & MUCH higher than he said!
On the city’s finance page, it says the tax applies to single family homes >$5M but condos/coops (much if NYC!) >$1M
Worse, on multifamily tax is 4-6.5%! In other words, impossible.
From the snippets of Fauci emails that I've seen, the thing that most infuriates me is that Fauci *knew* that "dissenters" like @DrJBhattacharya were honest actors making reasonable arguments but he coordinated attacks on them anyway.
