@TheFeIlStar "Oh?"
Shamir is awkward in her own skin at the very moment, but to turn on her heels and catch a glimpse of Byleth in a dapper display almost sends her rocking off balance.
"'Wow yourself' indeed," she returns to them with a teensy smirk, making a weak attempt at nonchalance.
She's spent copious moments of her time perfecting her outfit made up of a form-fitting dress in emerald green; sprawled elegantly across her neck is a silver necklace that glimmers subtly beneath the pale shift of moonlight.
"Hm. Not too bad."
@TheFeIlStar An all-knowing smile appears across her face-- which indicates her poorly-hidden excitement.

"Yes. Of course. Guess that means I'm your 'partner' for the evening, I take it?"
@FraldariusCrest "Mm," she muses with the tilt of her head, "it's none of my business. But for all I know, they've been kind to me."
Shamir catches the smile that creeps up to her lips and forces it away, feigning a taut line. "Ha! Not that I'd ever dream to confide in a former student with but -
@FraldariusCrest She was used to his icy tongue which, admittedly was humorous in her eyes.
She 'tsks' quietly and averts her gaze from him.
"..Yeah, precisely my point. It's highly likely they invited me for a bit of company," she says while rubbing her nape, appearing clearly dejected by this.
@FraldariusCrest "Ha. I'd watch your tongue if I were you," she says almost dryly, far too nervous and invested in her plans to pay Felix's quips any mind.
"Well, if you care to know.. It's Professor Byleth. They invited me as courtesy, I'm assuming."
Yeah. That's what it's called, Shamir.
