@LouiseMensch Presenting this post as ‘supportive’ is disingenuous. It is demeaning & insulting & shows you have ltd knowledge & understanding of what Emma has achieved & contended with since her US Open win. She IS a contender- do some research. And she’s a 23 yr old ‘woman’ NOT a ‘girl’.
@bradambition She has been criticised and vilified for 40 years by the msm despite being the most successful female music artist of all time. If you watch interviews with Madonna from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s they are shocking and she handled every single one with intelligence and class.
@Tennis@SteveTignor It’s hilarious that absolute nobodies have so much hate for a legend of sport. Jog on and try achieving something for yourself rather than dragging other people down.
@TheTennisTalker The aggression and vitriol that she receives is enlightening. For people to take so much pleasure in dragging her down always says so much more about them than it does about her. Emma is a GS champion, won fair and square at the age of 18, and nobody will ever take that away.
@pavyg You may not like her, and have made that very clear repeatedly, but Emma achieved something that no other tennis player, male or female, ever has. She is entitled to every bit of her earnings.
@mattonthefloor You were incredible Matt. Have followed your career these last 10 years and you have been such an inspiration. You will get that global gold I just know it. What a race and what a time!! The country is so proud of you.
@PhilHs10@Keir_Starmer Is this a joke? I’m not sure what I find most fascinating; the nonsense being spoken, the fabulous hair dye or flawless mascara (I mean beard!)??
