Short swimrun events can be a lot of fun. You don't necessarily need dramatic coastlines and lung-busting hills for a swimrun adventure.

I like these new rankings from British Swimrun.
(Points are based on the number of races as well as performance. We did a lot of races).

I'm excited to see the return of Swimrun Gower. I did it when it was a Breca event. It's a stunning location.

Between us, we aim to answer as many of your swimrun questions as we can.
My little secret from 2023: I did more swimrun races than open water swimming events. In this podcast, Mike from WeSwimRun asked which I like best. We also spoke about paddles, training for transitions a why swimrun is such fun. https://t.co/iBHnXaGK1f
Thinking about swimrun for 2024? We've pulled together a draft list of events in the UK plus a selection from elsewhere. Some dates still TBC.

A common question: When can I stop doing drills and just swim? Answer: Probably never. Stop seeing drills as a chore and instead enjoy some thoughtful, mindful time in the water. Do drills with purpose. Invent your own to help you solve your own unique swimming challenges.
We should have shared this one a while ago. The summer and the Bewl Water Swimrun are already distant memories. But here's our write-up of the event - it's one we fully recommend.

I've recovered enough to write a brief summary of today's Wales Swimrun: wet, windy and epic. Loved it. Swims cut and runs extended is never in my favour. We got beaten in the mixed teams race by about 100m. I think we'd have caught them if the final swim had been retained 🤷♂️🏊♀️🏃♂️
What events are you doing this year? We've created a spreadsheet with as many UK events as we could find plus a handful of others from around the world. You can download it here: https://t.co/Ir8JYOtJX7
