@comatthew6 I don't think the average 5e player / gm cares about game integrity (see all the discussion on fudging rolls and if you should even track monster HP)

The moderate position in 5e circles is the GM has an obgligation to fudge dice in player's favor to keep the story moving

@comatthew6 Of course imo the better advice is play a system where combats are fun and you don't need to compensate for the game if you care about pacing to that degree

@comatthew6 In the context of 5e that's actually good advice, there are a lot of egregiously long cleanups where "nothing happens" due to how many enemies in that game are built to be bullet sponges

If an enemy doesn't present a real threat, don't burn resources ergo "easy" is a long time

So if you go third, you scry 2 as 2 players moved before you

(Balance turn order by giving some card selection, less to consider with a scry early game so scry 3 still does not take super long)

@CountFreakulla They *said* it was to keep pirates in check... I think it is more so there is a way for the gov to give orders without it being tied back to them (while also having more power houses for wars not being bad).

I'm in favor of letting people wear what they want and not taking photos of strangers in public to post on the internet for chiding. That's the real social faux pas, not wearing pajamas at Costco. Menswear for me is just an aesthetic hobby, not a moral system or obligation.
