my name is Switch/Alexander. 25+, artist, writer, retro toy & video game/pc hardware collector. FGO vlad and moriarty guy 🦋🦇. mostly FGO and my art here.
i’ve gotten moriarty capable of extremely rudimentary movement without exploding. his vertex groups looked broken, so i roughly reassigned them, but there’s so little documentation about these models i’m still not 100% confident in that. i have to learn how to do joints properly.

something about moriarty’s arcade model felt off to me still, and i realized it’s because he has no discrete eye shines (vlad did) due to just referencing his base art. the lack of light makes his eyes look a bit dead in blender. kind of wish that had been a real design element.
fixed the eyebrow mesh. jesus christ. anyway.
the evil grin looks good, but it’s missing something without the shadows under his eyes. vlad had a secondary face texture to add under eye shadows, so i’m surprised moriarty doesn’t seem to have anything like that?
had to start over because blender ate moriarty’s eyebrows (something broke in his file hierarchy somehow) and it would genuinely be faster for me to re-assign his textures and shape keys again than try to troubleshoot it.
