We visited Gateway Arch NP the weekend after it was designated #60 and Ranger said a trend of other units becoming “National Parks” is likely. But they were scant on details.

We may have some work to do to stay in that All National Parks Club ;)

Not sure on advice for Spring, but go early to Bear Lake, Wild abasin has nice waterfalls and Indian Peak Wilderness south of the park is gorgeous.
