@digby56 How about if they did it the day he launched his first campaign by proudly proclaiming that racism and xenophobia were the core of his identity?
That would have been a great time for it, too.
@digby56 I think of all the times Biden’s given speeches & media has declined to cover them. Trump can’t open his mouth w/o the press being right there w/cameras & mics to pick up every word. Words that are often garbled & confused, & which go unmentioned. Biden never gets that deference.
I wonder what Trump's poll numbers would look like if the press had launched a frenzied full court press 24/7 to make him drop out when it became clear that he was speaking gibberish and having evident TIAs at rallies and falling asleep in his criminal trial. We'll never know.
I think Trump probably believes the stereotypes and has various racial groups in different industries. He is so out of touch with people of color, I find it humorous that they so desperately try to argue they are winning the black vote. Some Latinos do so by virtue of religious influence, but that is another subset of Americans that truly despises Trump and the animosity he harbors towards Mexican culture and heritage.
@MarkHamill I guess it is a job that a Black person would hate, according to a long history of slavery and 200++ years of ongoing discrimination and incarceration?
...but that's just me. 🤷🤦
@MarkHamill Trump doesn't know what a "black job" is either, he was simply pandering, as usual. On the other hand, Trump definitely knows what a 'Con Job' is!
@MarkHamill To me a “black job” is every job. Yesterday I had a knee procedure. There were 6-7 people in the room. None were white. They were all Black, Asian, or Indian and two of them were Black Women. To me that’s a “black job.” Helping my knee pain AFTER a white doctor botched surgery.🌸
