@JulesDProperty So what’s your research expertise on the topic? A stratospheric chemist, a marine ecologist, etc. My guess is you have no science expertise at all.
@julianHjessop@danielmgmoylan ~50% of UK adults have primary school level numeracy. An astonishing number can’t understand a railway timetable. I’ll bet that % is much higher in leave voters. 0ddly, I have heard highly educated arts grads boast they are hopeless at maths.
@SandyofSuffolk Do tell us what are your credentials in climate science? Are you a stratospheric chemist for example or do you have any science qualifications at all? Why is your opinion to be taken more seriously than global experts in the field?
@GBNEWS What stupid comments. Humans can adapt. Many species can’t. Corals are a prime example. These people are totally ignorant of terrestrial and aquatic ecology, and indeed disease vectors.
@Nigel_Farage@darrengrimes Parents surely have an important role: do they aspire for their sons and daughters to be architects, neurologists, mathematicians or are they happy if they leave school at the earliest opportunity for low status poorly paid jobs?
@danielmgmoylan@NimkoAli Why do you think there is a very strong positive correlation between voting for Brexit and lack of education. Do you think the better educated are less supportive of democracy. For example that an Oxford professor is less democratic than a Makerfield plumber?
@TiceRichard Let’s assume that what’s happening is in line with our traditions and law. Thus, whining for a GE is a waste of breath. I’d love to know what fraction of your paid MP time is spent in autocratic Dubai.
@darrengrimes Can you explain why Brexit was predominantly supported by the least educated / most deprived people in England? What did/do they know that escaped the professional and business classes and most economists?
@benonwine Do you know that the greatest risk to children is, shockingly, their own families! Much of the fear you talk about is misplaced but stoked up by certain shameless politicians.
