@rodmatthews77 @Jacke_Bee @Complex I lived in Middle class suburbs in all 4 states. Usually a lot of middle class suburb options in Il and Ca. in Ark usually one, in Mo 2 or 3. More choices. no comparison to IL public schools. Yes, poverty pub school not great, but in suburbs no comparison.

People pretending life sucks because you pay higher taxes probably haven’t lived in those states. High taxed life quality was not terrible.

@rodmatthews77 @Jacke_Bee @Complex Things cost what they cost and you get value from that. If you want a low tax life without many services MO and Ark are great. If you want high paying jobs more job flexibility, public transportation, usable public schools, the arts, options for food, then no.

@rodmatthews77 @Jacke_Bee @Complex I’ve lived in California, Illinois, Missouri, and Arkansas. There is no comparison. All are different, but the life quality in California and Illinois is significantly better than the southern states. All great places to live for different reasons.

@IlliniJen Interesting without substantial tax money from the Feds, Indiana can’t viably stay afloat. Yet they are taking the Bears and some of the poorest counties in Illinois. Maybe they need to reduce their federal handouts before becoming a tax haven state.

@scottpuryear The program is farther along than past. Belgium is bringing Premiere league guys off the bench. US had a bad night against a team they needed to be perfect to beat, but progress is clear. Other programs and teams are getting better too. Belgium is a top 4 program traditionally.
