NMIXX performing "Love Me Like This" at the 2026 TIMA! It is so crazy to see how much the girls have improved at performing this song compared to when it first came out, the amounts of ad-libs and improvisations 🥹
The scar in #NiceToSeeYou has slowly become the place where everything Ideum can’t say seems to end up. He covers it when he feels exposed, touches it when he’s overwhelmed & after seeing his mom he scratches at it so much that Jaeyi has to catch his hand. Ideum finally says what he thinks it proves about him too: hideous, cursed, something even his own mom couldn’t stand looking at. I’m still wondering whether “you’ll think it’s gross too” means he’s grouping Jaeyi with the reaction he remembers from his mom, or whether Ideum’s own disgust has become so internalized that he assumes everyone will eventually confirm it.
Jaeyi doesn’t hesitate (yay Jaeyi!!). “No, it’s not.” He looks directly at it, touches it, kisses it & wipes Ideum’s tears while the *badum* returns. I love the callback to the first time Jaeyi licked over the stickers & quoted Ideum’s own novel about licking something to make it heal. There was still a bandage between Jaeyi & the scar back then. This time there isn’t. Jaeyi even asks whether it’s a surgery scar rather than an injury, like he’s trying to understand what happened to Ideum instead of only telling him it looks fine.
The way Jaeyi talks about the scar is completely opposite to Ideum’s understanding of it. Ideum sees everything his body supposedly ruined. Jaeyi sees the body that survived long enough for Ideum to write his stories, chase the experiences he wants & build something for himself. Jaeyi once said his own heart wasn’t in judo, yet he keeps handling the physical evidence of Ideum’s heart with so much care. ♥️ ❤️🩹
