The way he emphasizes unpredictability and metaphoric meaning makes it very unlikely there to actually be any single "chosen one" to begin with.

@pairko49393 @PaulTassi I'm not so sure since the show is nearly unrecognizable from the books. Season 1 was really close, big changes start in season 2, by season 5 the characters and plot are it's own thing.
Even if the storys vague destination is the same, there is 0% chance the paths are the same.

@DANYSPHOENlX It's really confusing people think it low fantasy. Martin himself even calls it high fantasy in his notes of the original story outline. I'm not entirely sure if it's the show, people just believing their own headcanons or just not knowing what terms mean that cause the mindset.
