From what I have gathered, "unc" is a shortened version of "uncle" to which has been used as a nickname to call someone older than you. Which in this context, still does not make sense.

@BladedRifle I asked my child, since he knows more than I do. His response, "Uh, I think so, since it changes and stuff. I'm pretty sure that's what it's called. Or it could be bigear, since it's only two, up to them (you) though." Hope this helps.
