Loved seeing how our students are celebrating diverse cultures in Nov! DVHS students created & displayed awesome Ofrendas in the @LibraryDVHS for Día de los Muertos and @CoyoteCreekElem students presented storytelling, games & treats for National Native American Heritage Month!
Awesome trip to visit Sonoma State and Dominican University. At SSU, our dynamic campus tour guide was my former elementary art student and with whom I helped through the college process. Love to reconnect with my students and see what beautiful & wonderful adults they’ve become!
Toured UCLA yesterday & so happy to meet up with a former student and APAPA intern, who is currently attending UCLA! She gave me an insider’s look on being a student there. Catching up and reconnecting with students is definitely a very favorite part of my job! ❤️
[1/3] We’re pleased to announce - 9 SRVUSD Elementary Schools selected as CA Distinguished Schools! We are so proud that they received this prestigious honor: Alamo, Greenbrook, Hidden Hills, John Baldwin, Live Oak, Neil Armstrong, Sycamore Valley, Vista Grande & Walt Disney. 🏆
I was blown away by the product pitches! Not only did the students use research, presentation, creativity and collaboration skills for their projects, but they had a lot of fun and I certainly did too (made a deal as a Shark!). Thank you Mrs. Wright & 5th grade Bulldogs! @SRVUSD1
Ms. Wright’s 5th graders created products to aid in ending the global water crisis. They pitched their ideas to a school board member, Ed Services reps, AP and Principal ala ‘Shark Tank’. Creative ideas to solve real world problems! @SRVUSD1
Excited to attend, learn and network at this year’s #CSBA#aec2022 conference! Looking forward to sharing best practices with colleagues from all over CA on governance to benefit students.
Cool displays, activities and performances at @CoyoteCreekElem today celebrating Native American culture! Thank you to performing arts teacher Mr. Olkowski and the support of PTA President Shama Chavan for this entertaining and learning opportunity for our community. @SRVUSD1
The Día de los Muertos student projects from @DVHSWildcats blew me away! Deep learning at it’s best! Thank you Spanish teachers for helping our students learn both deeply & widely, and Teacher Librarians for hosting this incredible exhibit. @SRVUSD1 community, this is a must see!
Celebrated our amazing @SRVUSD1 students who were awarded for completion of the American Legion’s selective Boys State/Girls State program! Bonus: Reconnected with Ms. Harvalee Grimm who was Cal High’s College & Career Coordinator & is now Program Coordinator there!
So excited to participate again in our annual Run for Education benefiting our students & schools! Please consider donating (pledging) towards my participation. (Full disclosure—I’ll be Walking for Education—not a runner!) @srvef@srvusd1

Thank you Principal Offerman, AP @KLoecher and staff for letting me come spend some time with your awesome students! Very much enjoyed my chats with the kids, and saw the great work of staff to feed and take care of everyone while minimizing food waste! Bulldogs rock! @SRVUSD1
Board member, @swordway helped us with lunch duty today! Also pictured here is our new Assistant Principal, @KLoecher! Happy Friday, Bulldogs! @SRVUSD1
So great for all our students, teachers and staff to be together at our school sites again! Loved the special news spotlight on Twin Creeks, where my children attended and I worked and volunteered! Go Tigers! @SRVUSD1
Just caught the fabulous Imagineering production of The Lion King Jr. at Cal High. So much fun!! Thanks to @srvef and its team, drama teacher Heather Raines, choir teacher Jennifer Brown and of course, all the talented students!!!
Been busy catching up with my students and work since returning from vacation, but made sure to take the time to pull papers to run for my school board seat this November. I’m committed to continuing to serve our students and our community!
