👍 Coastguard's footbridge in Dawlish has reopened to the public.
🚶Walkers can now cross the bridge to reach Dawlish Warren along the sea wall.
🦺 The section of sea wall between Coastguards and Colonnade breakwaters remains closed while we continue our work there.

📷 We're making progress on our work at Dawlish station to reduce the gap between the train and platform.
👷♀️👷 It's part of our round-the-clock work every weekend in February to improve the resilience of the line in South Devon.

👷♀️Our guys and girls have been working day and night to renew worn out track on the Newquay line
🛤Work is progressing well with old track having been removed, new track bed formed, sleepers laid, rail installed and clipped and fresh stone laid. Lots more to do

👷♀️ We will be working on Houndiscombe Bridge in Plymouth. This essential maintenance work will help to maintain the lifespan of the bridge.
🌉 We will work overnight from 22 January - 24 April at weekends and during daylight hours Mon- Friday.

This winter, we will be renewing around half a mile of track with brand new rails and sleepers along the Royal Mile just north of Totnes, the largest relay programme we have carried out in one winter to date.

🏗Last night, the first pieces of stone that were retained from the old wall were installed as part of the creation of new benches.
👷We will also pay tribute to the heritage of the area by adding an outline of the old boathouse to the new promenade, showing where it once stood.
🏖 The lower set of steps to the beach near Coastguards breakwater have now been installed.
