👷‍♀️👷‍♂️ The new Bristol Brabazon station on the former Filton Airfield is coming on leaps & bounds, in line with our construction programme.

💪 On the late May bank holiday weekend the station footbridge was assembled in less than 24 hrs.

🛤️ Our track renewal Bristol ↔️ south Wales is going well.

🚇We've installed new rail & sleepers in the Bristol-bound Patchway tunnel, getting ready to drop & compact the top layer of stone.

🚉We’re sorry for this morning’s disruption between Reading & Paddington, and beyond the Thames Valley.

⚡️It was caused by cable theft, which led to a power outage affecting the railway. British Transport Police are investigating.

🎉 Another major milestone reached for Bristol's new Brabazon station – the stairs & footbridge have been fully installed this weekend!

🏗️ The 9 pieces were lifted in by crane & assembled in less than 24 hrs.

🛠️ Platform construction & fit out continues over the coming weeks.
