Your property taxes are about to go UP if your local elected officials vote for any tax rate above the "No-New-Revenue" rate.

This is true even if is is a lower rate than last year... that's the scam I'm exposing: unless the rate is lowered all the way down to the NNR rate, then that rate is still a property tax hike, and the politicians voting for it, know it.

And to clarify one more myth: the NNR still brings in a ton of NEW REVENUE for local governments.

Oh, and all these property tax hikes happening without voter approval are possible because TxLege allows it.
