As #CiscoLive is happening, AI will obviously dominate the conversation.
But is anyone talking enough about the Cisco ASA migration/security exposure issue?
ASA 5500-X deadlines are coming. CISA has flagged serious ASA/FTD vulnerabilities. Migration risk is real.
The question is no longer just “when do we migrate?”
It’s:
How long are we exposed while we migrate?

I think @Starlink is in my future as I am so tired of Xfinity. High Cost, service having issues for me every month and even had to escalate to the executive office and the only thing they did was nothing oh wait $60 refund. Years of over charging and bad sevice. @Xfinity
This Memorial Day, we honor those who gave everything to protect our freedom.
The battlefield may evolve.
The mission never changes.
From physical defense to cyber resilience, protecting what matters requires speed, readiness, and commitment.
We remember. 🇺🇸

My son Colin was in Finland turning real rally stages into better simulator data.
That’s the same lesson behind good technology migration:
Don’t guess in production.
Simulate.
Validate.
Execute.
From simulator to track.
From legacy to production.
Convert Faster. Get Back on Track.
Really proud of my wife, Violette Abawi, for presenting at the University of Chicago during the 2026 CATA Pedagogy Conference on “AI in the Arabic Language Classroom.”
What impressed me most is the thoughtful way she approaches AI in education — not as a replacement for teachers, but as a tool to create more personalized, proficiency-aligned, and engaging learning experiences for students.
It’s exciting to see educators helping shape how AI can be used responsibly and meaningfully in the classroom.
I also want to give credit to Beacon Academy for recognizing the importance of this work and highlighting it to future students and families. Schools willing to thoughtfully embrace innovation are helping prepare students for the future they’re actually going to live in.
Very proud of her and all the educators pushing these conversations forward.

@DarrenBaileyIL I hope you don't limit DataCenter Growth but instead get the owners to bring the power and drive electric bills down for all citizens. Stopping progress is not a good policy putting guardrails on where they are deployed and the benefits to the residents is a great policy.
In 1953, Illinois politicians famously promised that roads would be "Toll-Free in '73." But since then, Illinois drivers have paid nearly $27 billion in tolls.
Now, state leaders are pushing for the largest passenger toll hike in Illinois history.
Here is what you need to know about the proposed $1 billion toll tax hike:
>Passenger tolls could jump by 45 cents, raising the average cost to $1.24.
>Commercial truck tolls could increase by 30%.
>Starting in 2029, tolls would automatically hike with inflation every two years.
>The tollway has collected nearly $20.7 billion more than it needed for maintenance since 1973.
>Over $3.3 billion currently remains unused in the state's Road Fund.
The tollway authority took in a record $1.44 billion in 2024.
So why the hike?
Because it was a political reward to labor unions for supporting a Chicago-area transit bailout.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signs bill decriminalizing knowing spread of HIV, repealing 1986 felony law on unprotected sɛx, needle-sharing, and blood donation without disclosure.
@MissinRoyko The most vile, despicable, inept, corrupt, treasonous governor Illinois has ever had in my 65 years living here. I would pay to see this piece of human excrement perp waddled, even if I had to dig in my couch for change. I’m hoping and praying @POTUS makes it happen.
The cybersecurity industry just crossed a threshold.
Not because AI is perfect.
Because it’s now fast enough.
Vulnerability discovery is accelerating.
Remediation isn’t.
That gap is the real risk.
I call it the Execution Exposure Window.https://t.co/BFiV6YZpIO
I would like to offer to pay the salaries of TSA personnel during this funding impasse that is negatively affecting the lives of so many Americans at airports throughout the country
We’re moving fast on AI capability.
We’re moving slowly on human responsibility.
That gap might be the most important thing to pay attention to right now.
