I was pleased to get in on the Waxwings Winter, finding a flock of 23 in my local supermarket car park, a classic location for Waxwings! At least a couple of the birds here are touched by leucism. I wonder if they will be spotted elsewhere in the country as winter progresses?
Fritillary butterflies have declined by 60% from 1990-2021. 😓🦋
