Not theory.
Just real experience from real work.
Almost one year in Thailand. 🇹🇭
Then I realized:
I know the factories better than I know Thailand. 😄
Finally had some time to visit the Grand Palace.
Working abroad shouldn’t only be about work.
Still working. Still learning.
And finally, starting to explore. 🌏
Back in China for a short break with my family.
Working overseas teaches you many things.
You learn about technology, business, and different cultures.
But coming home reminds you of something more important:
Success is not only about how far you can go.
It is also about who is waiting for you at home.
Building a career is important.
But building memories with the people you love is just as meaningful.
One book that has had a significant impact on my career is “The Fifth Discipline” by Peter Senge.
It changed the way I think about organizations and leadership. The book highlights that successful organizations are not only built by technology or processes, but by people who continuously learn, share knowledge, and improve together.
As I moved from technical roles into IT leadership and business partnership, I realized that the role of IT is not just about implementing systems. It is about helping the organization learn, adapt, and create long-term value.
A great system can support a business, but a learning organization can transform it.
Yes, I agree. A lot of AI agents today are not really doing meaningful work yet.
I created an AI agent called “Smart IT Service Desk”, but building the knowledge base is actually the hardest part. The Wiki documents, data quality, and underlying knowledge still need a lot of improvement before it can truly deliver value.
I believe the success of AI agents depends not only on the AI model itself, but also on the quality of business knowledge and data behind it.
