but i love how the story emphasises that good & evil both stem from the same sources, it depends on what choices & decisions one makes

as for yoichi, he turned out to be kind. i think mainly because he had other influences like the comics (afo read them too but by that point he was too far gone to have any kindness). and also the fact that it was afo doing most of the dirty work in order for their survival

soo mayyyybe even if afo was ‘born evil’, had the times been different, he wouldn't have turned into the demon lord, like even if one factor was different. that's what I think.
