When was the last time you had an intense emotional episode of distress?
❌ First things first, log off. You are actually running away from feeling the emotions you are supposed to experience. Procrastinating this for a later time.
✅ Pause for a moment, regain clarity after the pause - which might even be a moment in tears. Then breathe in and out, meditate on the available options you have and ask a professional to listen to you before you do what you intend to do.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
📌1. You can not procrastinate pain. You need to have to be prepared. Pain is like water, you can only block it until it finds an alternative route. You always need to prepare for emotional disaster as often as you encounter it.
📌2. You always need someone, as soon as possible and there is always that person you have known to have empathy in their blood - naturally. They can also have it professionally.
📌3. You need a mental health first aid kit https://t.co/n7obznj522 - a place where you can feel warm and welcome. So many people have their safe haven of clarity, that is part of self discovery. A journey you go on intentionally.
We pray. They sport. Mostly, a conversation. Ideally some will go for an experience.
Do not sweep sensitive things under the rag, it gets filthy and that right there is damage.
