If we want to become more accurate, we should capitalise on the wisdom of the crowd by listening more to others. In particular, we should listen to people who disagree with us

Maybe the question you should be asking yourself is this, “How confident are you that you’re right, right now?” How certain are you that democracy is the best form of government? How sure are you that the religion you believe in is the one that leads to true heaven? And etc…

And the best calibrated people arent those who know the most. It’s those who know what they dont know. So, true wisdom lies not in being certain, but it knowing the limits of your own certainty
