Dispatch merilis laporan bahwa chat Kim Saeron pada tahun 2016 adalah dengan selebritis lain, bukan dengan Kim Soohyun.

Laporan dispatch menjelaskan bahwa polisi melakukan identifikasi forensik pada perangkat elektronik yang digunakan oleh Kim Saeron dan melakukan recovery chat dan foto-foto lama. Polisi tidak menemukan bukti hubungan Kim Saeron dan Kim Soohyun namun menemukan bukti chat dengan 4 pria lain.

Analisis forensik polisi menemukan bahwa sosok yang disebut selebritis A adalah pengirim pada pesan pada tahun 2016. Nama selebritis tersebut muncul pada chat tersebut dan polisi menyatakan bahwa gaya chatnya berbeda dari Kim Soohyun.

Dispatch melaporkan bahwa Kim Se Ui menginstruksikan staff Ga Seyeon untuk mengganti nama pengirim chat pada 2016 tersebut menjadi Kim Soohyun.
