Hoop.. ia memiliki kemampuan melompat sangat kuat u/ berpindah dari satu pohon ke pohon lain.

Itulah MENTILIN (Tarsius bancanus), primata nokturnal (aktif di malam hari) yg jg sering disebut Pelilean. Merupakan satwa endemik Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, sehingga sangat jarang ditemukan di luar wilayah ini.

MENTILIN berperan sbg pengendali populasi serangga di hutan. Jika populasinya menurun, serangga bisa mjd lebih banyak dan mengganggu ekosistem serta kegiatan pertanian warga.
