@lzsthw I’m not a fan of JIRA either, but work in regulated areas require you to document and prove everything. If not jira we end up going back to word docs which makes everyone’s life even more miserable.
Today, Micron shared some news that comes with a heavy heart: we’ve made the difficult decision to wind down the Crucial consumer business. This means that sales of Crucial-branded products through retailers, e-tailers, and distributors worldwide will gradually come to an end.
For nearly three decades, Crucial has been more than just a brand - it’s been a trusted companion for millions of people building, upgrading, and creating. Thanks to an incredible community of passionate customers, dedicated partners, and talented Micron team members, Crucial became synonymous with innovation, quality, and reliability in memory and storage. We are deeply grateful for the support and loyalty that made this journey possible.
Some things to note as we wind down:
Crucial consumer products will continue to ship through the end of February 2026, and we’ll work closely with our partners and customers to ensure a smooth transition. Warranty service and support will remain available for all Crucial products. While this chapter is closing, Micron will continue to serve commercial customers globally with Micron-branded enterprise products.
Thank you - for 29 amazing years of trust, collaboration, and shared success. Crucial wouldn’t have been what it was without you.

64gb of RAM now costs more than an entire Sony PS5 console.
Xbox did not account for this, and have told retailers they will be raising prices.
Sony is said to have stockpiled RAM and should be price stable for now.
All that is going to get much worse next year. Steam Machine's launch is going to be really messed up by this.
What's increasing RAM prices? A huge shortage as RAM manufactures shift production to the type of RAM AI needs, leaving no capacity for anything else.
@ePandu The bubbles because everyone thinks it’s this magic pill that solves everything and anything. Another year and we will be back to doing things human ways but AI deeply integrated everywhere. There’s no going back, it’s just not going to solve everything
I’ve gotta click the new < Back icon at the top now. And I have to stretch my thumbs all the way to the top or switch hands just to go back. Having the ability to go back at the bottom perfect in the call app.
IOS26 updates some of the Apple default apps and I’m not liking all th changes. The new unified view in Call app, hate that I have to click that small phone icon to call a person and not the whole row.
The most annoying of all so far, in the call app, the screen doesn’t move back to the previous screen when you press the icons at the bottom. (Favourite, recents, contacts, keypad) pressing this icon would take you back to the previous screen, in the new unified view it doesn’t.
@tanmays 16 pro max beaten to death, total random charge cycles, drops to 5% most of the time before plugged in. Still at 96%, I think it’s done its job well. Almost always charge once a day.
@9_6 Right, that and tires that are rock solid. I almost doze off every race, it’s usually at 6 AM for me. Unless someone crashes or it rains, the races are extremely boring. 2026 can’t come faster, if it’s going to be the same, time for a new pass time.
Is it just me or all f1 races except rain filled ones have been boring. Yes the mclarens are faster but man no overtakes, remove the commentary and it’s just cars going on a parade. Might as well finish race in qualifying or do some ai simulation after quali and give trophy. 🏆
