It is possible to change the course between the first and last points. You can still pass the class even if you don't do your hw one time. Even if you fail a class, you can still go to college. You can still get a job and make money even if you don't go to college.

The slippery slope fallacy is where one idea is implausible because it leads to an undesirable conclusion.
Like if we allow A to happen then it will cause a chain reaction and eventually cause Z to happen, which is not good, therefore A should not happen.
