@OurLastFix @joaofanhavieira @LHissrich Agreed, I did a full rant to my friend on it. It turned the book's impactful "I'm your destiny" meeting, "I thought I lost you" into an awkward. "I guess we're supposed to be together because law of surprise." Meeting,"my grandmother said to look for you..." whyd they even hug 😂

Fans of of the games and books don't veiw it as selfish because we know it goes past altering the source material to plain disrespect to it. Geralt has been demoted from wise thinker to strong and silent eye candy.

@MinisterOfTrut @LHissrich I usually dislike people who say the books are better for other things but here it's warranted. Geralt the main character isn't even close to how he is in his source material. You couldn't convince me show Geralt and Ciri like each other much less have a father daughter bond

Instead of being a wise man who is constantly moralizing we got this Geralt who's strong and silent eye candy at best. I don't mind centering the women's stories, but not Geralt? Really?
