@TeamYouTube Thanks we have been through that FAQ before when this has happened on the same videos in the past. We’ve seen at least one other 24/7 channel describe the same issue. It’s due to something outside the creator/channel’s control.
Hi @TeamYouTube two of our videos have randomly been demonetised again. We have never done anything to manipulate traffic, and our best guess is that our year-old streams are embedded in sites that access them. Is there any way to whitelist?

@TeamYouTube Oh yep, thanks, it’s not a content issue, it’s an invalid traffic issue. But we have nothing to do with whatever the bad traffic is - we have no insight as to what it is.
@TeamYouTube Well, actually… we’re curious to know if systems are being implemented more broadly to prevent this kind of random demonetisation issue? Something like smarter detection or bot-deterring mechanisms? (assuming that this is somehow linked to click bots)
@surfline@Surfline_Aus Pretty sure I’ve been watching whales thrashing in the middle of the Merewether camera from about 13:55 AEST. If you have higher res files you can rewind and crop, it might be worth the yoink.
@TeamYouTube Thanks, we read through that FAQ and contacted creator support, who sent us that FAQ, but it doesn’t offer any insight or path to resolution. Could other sites or channels embedding and redistributing our stream be the cause? Does Google/YT have any tool to ID bad traffic?
@TeamYouTube Is there any way to identify the cause/origin of #invalidtraffic ? Our 24/7 stream has been up 9mo, has 3k likes, and we really don’t want to have to reboot and lose those stats. #Livestream
