I keep saying this like do I like infold? No but people want to make them out to be some spineless villain and their not if for the sole reason that all of this costs them money even without the boycott I have no faith in infolds morality but people characterize them as cartoonishly evil.

Infold has major issues with pacing and prioritizing and communication but this narrative feels almost childishly simplistic. It’s convient to justify anger at a company that is worth being angry at. But people are crossing their wires.

Infold is not spineless, they’re not bowing to antis. The relationship between the Chinese government and CN companies leaves very big areas for people to exploit. So much so that even the Shanghai Police force had to comment on it. Idk how it’s not clicking for people.

I love and agree with all of our protests but sometimes I feel like our folks will not think something through if it validates their emotions regardless of whether or not the actual train of thought makes sense. And that just riles people up more.

The thing is creating a narrative might feel validating in the moment but it doesn’t help you understand what’s going g on, it will inflame already high emotions and set people up for anxiety and expectations good and bad.

It’s hard to accept that the entity that is normally fucking up in the wrong might actually not be that bad in this once instance. Maybe it’s the autistic brain in me but following the logic through it makes no sense at all.
