cEDH needs a Rhystic ban more than any format has needed a ban since Urza’s block.
cEDH is popular because commander is popular, and so are winning, playing competitively, and doing powerful things in Magic.

@O84476573 @DroodHT This is where I am! I mostly play commander because it is so much better for my wallet to buy precons/proxy decks than to buy new cards for a format that has the best deck change every set that releases and every ban that happens.
@PWPMtG I'm a fan of playing a few stax pieces like cursed totem or grafdigger's cage in slower, more controlling strategies. Having a few silver bullets that you can tutor for or mulligan into in what would otherwise be pods that you're rather unlikely to win can be super helpful.
@CriticalEDH@ThePfef Whenever someone's played a lantern or hand-revealing effect in my games, they tend to either go to time or end up in a screwed-up boardstate because everyone wants someone else to push first. Also, how does lantern help us push our own game plan without the codex shredder stuff?
@Aldous74048426@chairthatspins@pudd1ngandp1 I mean, there was Jax running down a hallway and stopping at one of the rooms that had a picture of a crossed out frog on the door. That could have been a friend of his that got erased.
Why do we have Calling All Heroes if we're just going to tell LGBTQ players they have to go Saudi Arabia or end their careers? This is extremely disappointing and just a massive sellout to claim OWCS has a 2nd LAN.
Players, Coaches, and Staff who are LGBTQ should not have to take the risk of traveling to Saudi Arabia in order to keep their careers. Saudi Arabia and EWC should be a CHOICE not a requirement. International LANs cannot be held in a nation where the death penalty is still in place for homosexuality (even if it isn't enforced) and where trans people will get arrested or deported for wearing their preferred gendered clothing.
@OW_Esports@EWC_EN@DreamHack I don't blame the OW Esports team for this decision but I still feel compelled to leave this here.
