The strong banking regulations that were put in place by Paul Martin were the reason why Canada was relatively unscathed in 2008. Harper tried unsuccessfully to weaken those regulations in 2007.

@Dempsters @faces_beauty This is a blatant ripoff. The only improvement I see is to the company’s bottom line. The damn bagels taste the same, Dempster just removed one bagel and increased the price. I am finished buying any Dempster products. I encourage others to follow suit.
