@VolpeParm11 Schmidt is an underrated pitcher. He got better as the season rolled on. He gave up 3 or less runs in 83% of his 30 starts. Yes he is a 5 inning pitcher--almost every starter is these days.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@antaor065 @TalkinYanks Unfortunately he is still a Yankee. (just kidding Oz Man).

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@TalkinYanks Judge looks huge!

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@flagstafffilms I am going to say 1967--that looks like Fred Talbot pitching and Mike Hegan at 1st--of course Boog at the plate.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@FiresideYankees Yes.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@NYYRecapsDerek And Gio, and Peralta, and keynan Middleton

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@vzmercogliano Have anyone noticed how Braden Schneider always seems to be on the ice during many of the Rangers broken plays defensively.? This year he has regressed in his own end.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@TalkinBaseball_ @TalkinYanks $16 mil?? Wow--they will regret it.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@FiresideYankees NO. Keep Jones and just sign Montgomery. Or make another offer for Luzardo.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@MollieeWalkerr Once again Chris Kreider does his "disappearing" act like he has every year of his career except one (when he scored 50 goals). When you are 6'3 220 lbs with power and speed you need to be involved every game. This has been a long-time issue with him.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@vzmercogliano Once again, like every year except the one in which he scored 50 goals- Chris Kreider--all 6"3 220 lbs with amazing power and speed, "disappears." This has been his trait throughout his entire career (except one year when Gallant got him motivated all year.)

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@JeffDavid311588 @LoadedBasesPod @JimBowdenGM @Dodgers @Mets @Cubs @Rangers @SFGiants Snell throws 5-6 innings--kills the bullpen and he has way too many stressful innings with men all over the bases. That is why. Exhausting Cy Young winner.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@JoeinClark @LoadedBasesPod @JimBowdenGM @Dodgers @Mets @Cubs @Rangers @SFGiants They need to sign JD Martinez--give him the DH and leave him alone.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@LoadedBasesPod @JimBowdenGM @Dodgers @Mets @Cubs @Rangers @SFGiants Jordan Montgomery--@Yankees 6 years $150 million

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@TristanSnell The same type who chose Josh Donaldson over Seager and Olsen.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@Irishfan791 @NYRangers Igor is 10 and 7--ouch!

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@JacobBSpeaks Of course. Give him 5 years 110 mil or 6 and 120 mil and call it a day.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@wnicolay @NYYRecapsDerek You mean when Mickey Mantle made $60,000 in 1957, 58, 59, and 60? You liked that.

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@NYYRecapsDerek Schmidt gave up 3 or less runs in 83% of his games. Sure he does not go past 6 innings but who does these days besides the elite few.?

[sylvester @sylvester38]

@NYYRecapsDerek Watch Clarke Schmidt this year. He has progressed nicely and is better than Nestor right now. Nestor is a small left-hander coming off an injury. He should move to the bullpen. Schmidt is a horse.
