Global Prayer Day Set to Unite World in Collective Breast Cancer Prayer Initiative A new global initiative launching on August 8, 2026, seeks to transcend traditional awareness campaigns by asking the world to pray collectively for an end to breast cancer. Founder Beverly Vote, a 38-year breast cancer survivor who experienced being misdiagnosed four times before receiving her initial diagnosis, announced the launch of Global Prayer Day (GPD).
