I did it! I finished the 54km laugavegur trail - forded 4 rivers, walked across snow bridges, gained 4 blisters all whilst carrying a 10kg pack. Best of all I raised £635 for @EmmelinesPantry @PennineCareNHS @AntHassallNHS #penninepeople

We decided to do this walk last year after my partner's mum died. She had a spirit of adventure and always tried to help people. Fundraising as well as raising a glass to memory of Betty seems very appropriate.

@doctor_oxford @BorisJohnson I am a liaison psychiatrist. I remember the day in April 2020 when all bar one of my old age patients died. I'd been looking after one (in various roles) since '08, gorgeous man. I now treat long covid. I am in tears about all this evidence but not surprised.
