@Cerrnnoo wait true now that u mention it it is kinda right in between the two ends of the woke-bigoted horseshoe (even the tweet i qrt and the tweet they qrt and the screenshot in that tweet are all basically accusing each other of unwokeness despite being in general agreement)
people rarely ever bring up the intersectional privileges of marginalized groups to in any way genuinely engage in conversation like its usually just to drag them but wokely
every time i get deep into the replies i have to come here and tweet into the void to scratch the itch and stop myself from being nosy and annoying and saying um actually to random people cuz u mfs dont make sense!! ugh!!!!
the way mfs always talk in generalization directly leads to me concluding that there is no real queer community or any community to be had cuz everybody hates everybody but thats not true irl its just this sort of language leads to hit tweets
people talk like being black or gay or trans etc etc results in a quantifiable -1 on the oppression scale and being a man or white etc etc is a definite +1 and u can calculate out how oppressed someone is 😭😭😭
@xmaxinepowersx@mayashagasse since we talking in generalizations then wouldnt this also apply to trans women who dont pass (or any noncis amab person who looks like a man)
idgaf if im over-analyzing but i def think they tackled some themes of internalized homophobia this episode nd thats what made it so sad. the straight couples all around nakamura as he was walking home, him saying he knew this would happen but didnt think it would hurt that bad..
cuz its not just seeing everybody in love around u its seeing everybody being straight and in love and wondering if it all wouldve been better if u were just straight
wait omg first yr undergrad my writing prof said my essay about our reading and evangelion (lmaooo) was rly good and i should submit it for some competition (i didnt) but i was rly happy but then i completely forgot about it and now recently i just won one for my masters thesis
