@Thepetsonly Ah, I remember these days with my cat. I still saw him as a kitten. I was just so thankful to have him for as many days as I could. Your video is so similar to my own memories 🐱
A 2000 year old Roman water channel that still flows today
This incredible underground aqueduct is hidden right inside the Smyrna Agora in Izmir, Türkiye.
Built by the ancient Romans it originally carried fresh spring water to the city baths and fountains.
The stone arches are incredibly well preserved and the main channel is actually large enough for a person to walk through. After 2000 years the water is still actively flowing and is currently used to irrigate the modern archaeological site.
@justinbarsketis@theficouple Oh yes, if there are medical issues involved it can make a huge difference. Helping someone transitioning between jobs by giving them a break is also a big help for some.
@MESportsOps@theficouple I think if 300-500 per month covers your accommodation and food that's a pretty sweet deal. I'd want it to go to that not given back to me.
@theficouple I always WANTED to contribute. Even if it was not a large amount due to a smaller income. If working full time? Yes, it's good to pay something towards food and bills.
‘The Boss’ is known to be the largest and most famous grizzly bear in Banff National Park. 🐻 He’s been hit by a train twice, fights other big grizzlies and is believed to have fathered up to 70% of the grizzlies in Banff.
@Dalbodog I had never heard of this but a quick Google did indicate that it is true. Excellent info to know. The cost for a pacemaker for a dog must be astronomical... what a way to help one in need.
This 600-year-old painting is one of the most mysterious in history.
That mirror at the back is just 3 inches wide — yet it reflects the entire room in immense detail.
Look closer at it and you'll realize nothing is as it seems… (thread) 🧵
