When you say "Trust the Science" what you're really telling the world is "I don't trust myself learning about complicated issues so I'm going to let total strangers do it for me".

This is not an evidence-based but a faith-based comment. If lockdowns had the effect we were told, you would be able to clearly see it in the data. Yet you cannot. This is not science. It is the state religion.
What a minefield of red flags today! If I didn't know better I'd say its ripe time to square up for the classic one-two-23 skidoo punch about to pummel down on us, but alas the real world is not a Robert Anton Wilson novel, so--

In all human history, power grabs in the name of the greater good have a 100% failure rate in advancing the greater good
There is not one single instance in history where censorship has benefited the people

for in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. we all breathe the same air. we all cherish our children's futures. and we are all mortal...
let us not be blind to our differences, but let us also direct attention to our common interests, and the means by which those differences can be resolved.
and if we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity
