@a_lone_dancer [you're so beautiful ;o; he wants to do something dramatic. run the rest of the way, pick you up, swing you around. but this is a ritual, and he has to follow it. there will be time to break the rules later]

@eliotrex [searching your eyes to make sure you believe what you're saying, and after a moment he nods.] Alright. [exhale] ...Then I'd better get back out into the fray.

@eliotrex [he waits until you're alone and getting ready in a room somewhere, then darts in and shuts the door behind him, leaning back against it like he's keeping a monster out]

@a_lone_dancer [some dark part of him says that if something was going to go terribly wrong, it would be right here. He wants to check on the crowd, the exits, but he can't take his eyes off his bride]

@eliotrex [a breath, a pause. deciding how vulnerable he wants to be right now] ...Tell me there's no way in hell Carm'll leave me standing up there by myself.
